| 工作职责: |
1、Leads regional graphic design efforts across apparel, footwear and equipment categories, to ensure strong links across all categories. Utilizes exceptional design skills to create original, innovative concepts and designs that accurately reflect Umbro’s design philosophy and lead the industry. Understands and utilizes new technologies that bring innovation to Umbro designs and applications.
2、Communicates and presents design concepts. Works with Design and Category teams to strategise, create, drive, and deliver powerful presentations of seasonal design proposals that effectively communicate the concept behind the line for internal and external audiences.
3、Leads graphic design development processes to ensure design deliverables and timelines are met. Partners with design management and category team members in Design, Development and Merchandising to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price point, merchandising needs and product creation timelines.
4、Monitors the development of graphic samples and interacts with Development, Field Testing and the Sample Room to exchange ideas and ensure timely completion of each project.
5、Maintains and continually expands upon expert knowledge of current trends, colour, technology and sports related products through market travel and research. Demonstrates expert understanding of products, product lines, product development process and the specific markets in which Umbro does business.
6、Provides guidance to designers and category team members. Shares knowledge, experience, skills and best practices with others. May have responsibility for managing other designers including recruiting, providing coaching, feedback and performance evaluations. Effectively utilize design support |

- Decisions and actions impacting company image require management oversight and are constrained by policies
Minimum Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 6-8 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrs
Specific Work Experience:
Minimum of 6 years progressively technically sophisticated experience in graphic design for apparel and sports related product.
Ability to manage up to 3-4 projects per season at any level up to A.
Ability to work alongside the Global Design Team to ensure SMU graphic designs are brand appropriate
Proven advanced ability to apply and perform design skills (drawing/sketching, ideation, color theory, texture, visual presentation).
Knowledge and sensitivity to trends influencing design in athletic and sportswear industry.
Demonstrated ability to create market-appropriate graphic designs within set timelines.
Effective use of computer design applications.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to make persuasive presentations to senior management.
Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
Physical Requirements:
Typical Office: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
Irregular Work Hours:
Irregular hours may be required around Concept Debut and Product Creation schedule
Technical:
Exceptional ability to apply and perform design skills such as: drawing/sketching, concept ideation, colour theory, use of texture, spacing and scale, visual presentation development and layout.
Comprehensive understanding of garment construction and textile sciences
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in local market language, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
Ability to effectively elevate strategic concerns to senior management in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources.
Strong knowledge of cross team collaboration.
Sound judgment and ability to provide information toward the determination of policy and strategy.
Ability to exercise high degree of professionalism.

Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to inspire, involve, and mentor others within work group.
Ability to lead complex initiatives and project teams.
